Plain Video Saver

Plain Video Saver is a simple macOS utility for saving authorized non-DRM video streams from URLs.

It is intended only for media you own, created yourself, or are authorized to download. It does not bypass DRM or access protected content.

Features:

- Add one or more URLs

- Choose download folder and resolution

- Manage download queue and progress

- Uses bundled yt-dlp, ffmpeg, ffprobe, and Deno

- Browser cookies can be used locally only when selected by the user

Beta notice:

This app is currently in beta. Some websites may stop working when their streaming or access methods change. Updates will be provided when possible.

- Internet connection

- Permission may be required when capturing the current browser tab URL
